So you may have noticed the Total Gym button in my sidebar and thought “What in the world is that about.” Or maybe you didn’t think anything or didn’t even notice it. Heck, maybe no one even reads this blog, and I am talking to myself right now. That wouldn’t be too far off for me, as I did this all the time as a kid, and sometimes still pretend like I’m Rachael Ray when I cook dinner.
So anyway, back to our regularly scheduled post:
It is a challenge between 10 bloggers (one being me) where I plan to kick some major butt; including my own. We are going to be working out each week for two months using our new Total Gym XLS home gyms and sharing our thoughts on the gym and our progress!
After all, while Chuck Norris is a great person to take fitness advice from, we are moms which totally trumps anything Chuck brings to the table.
And yes, if you are wondering, I am aware that when “Chuck Norris does a push up he’s not pushing his body up, but pushing the Earth down”! I get that I really do, but moms ROCK (get over it Chuck).
My first impressions:
I love this gym! It saves me from having to drive all the way to the gym ever few days, and for that I am thankful! I can use all the extra family time I can get, and don’t wasting that time driving to and from the gym. I can use this gym in the privacy of my own home, in whatever workout clothes I choose lol!
I was also shocked at how powerful this little gym can be. The first few times I used it it was a much more powerful workout that I realized! I felt it for days afterwards.
I can’t wait to see how this program transforms my body!
