Stuffed peppers are one of my all time favorite meals. They may not be beautiful, but they are delicious, and so easy to make. A while back I shared my first and favorite Paleo Sausage Stuffed Pepper recipe with you, and today I want to share a few of my favorite Paleo Stuffed Pepper Recipes from around the web. These are recipes that I have tried, and they are awesome. Making a paleo stuffed pepper isn’t rocket science, but these recipes can take boring stuffed pepper recipes to new heights. My goal is to help you find the best of the best, and these recipes are always at the top of my list when I’m making sausage stuffed peppers (which happen to be my favorite).
I will share a variety of stuffed pepper recipes with you, but for know, let’s start with the sausage variety!
#1 My Favorite Sausage Stuffed Pepper Recipe (Pictured Above)
Oh my, talk about Paleo Heaven! Chorizo tastes amazing, and is a great way to pack some spice into a bland stuffed pepper recipe. Eating a paleo diet should be about making your lifestyle better, and you should never feel like a prisoner to your meal plan. Make sure you are choosing foods that make you feel and look great. After all, that is the point isn’t it?
As lovers of all things paleo, we know that sausage, eggs, and bacon aren’t just for breakfast! We love to put these ingredients into anything we can, and stuffed peppers are no different! I think these “breakfast” peppers are perfect for any time of the day. I personally prefer to eat my paleo stuffed peppers for lunch, because I am alone and they are easy to make for only one person. Then I like to save any additional stuffing and eat it as an omelet for breakfast!
I love this paleo stuffed peppers recipe because unlike many of the others I shared this one is perfect for families on the go. Don’t get me wrong, stuffed peppers recipes are pretty easy to make, but it can’t really get much easier than set it and forget it! I love making crock pot meals for my family, and for some reason there is a misconception that crock pot meals can be unhealthy, but like anything else, it’s all about what you put into it!
Last, but certainly not least a recipe you can share with friends and family… oh the stuffed poppers recipe! I love this recipe because it is great for parties, it is also a great way to start introducing stuffed peppers when you’re family may not be used to eating stuffed veggies. Because poppers are small, they may not be as overwhelming, and you could even choose to serve the poppers as a side, so weary eaters would feel like they have more options. The mind is a very powerful thing, so if you are dealing with picky eaters always “free” them up to enjoy a new food. Make it an option not an obligation!
So there you have it. My top 5 Paleo Sausage Stuffed Peppers Recipes! I hope you try them all, and stop back by to let me know which one is your favorite!
