I am in desperate need of an office makeover! If there is only one disaster room in the house it is usually this one. I just can’t seem to stay on top of it.
My office is like the drop-off spot for everything in the house. This is also the busiest room in the house. There is always someone in here. I really do hate that I can’t keep this room clean because it is the first room you see when you enter the house. Even if the rest of the house is spotless, this is your first impression.
The first thing I can’t wait to do is splash some fresh paint on these walls and thanks to Glidden I will be doing just that! I am one of the bloggers working on the #gliddengallons campaign so I get to make this office overusing the Glidden Brilliance Collection painting. Thankfully this paint is a 2in1 that combines both paint and primer so the green should cover pretty easily.
I am trying to take this office from the drab room I dread working into Tropical Oasis! I hope my two color choices will help me do just that. Then I plan to bring in some florals, pictures, and various to make the room more “lived in” than “walked through”!

As far as the rest of this mess…I don’t know what I’m going to do! I don’t blame this mess on our inability to pick up after ourselves because the rest of the house doesn’t look like this (on a good day). It’s more of an organizational issue! Take a look at that computer desk! Do you see any cabinets, drawers, or storage of any kind?
No!
That is my first problem!
I would love to get an L-shaped computer desk or even a double desk so we could trash Johns’s piece of junk as well. A storage cabinet would also be helpful because I need to get my printer and paper off of the floor. The final item on my wish list would be a wooden compartment organizer so I could keep my magazines, press releases, mail, coupons, school work, and everything thing else trees die for in one easy-to-find place.
