October has been an unforgettable month! Both my daughter and my blog turned one in October, and I still find it hard to believe! It doesn’t seem like either have been around that long, and I am so thankful for both.
God has been teaching me a lot this week, and one of the things I have learned is that this blog is (for the most part) a complete waste of space! He has shown me that I have had the wrong focus this past year, and I plan to make the changes that are needed to create a blog that is glorifying to Him, and Him alone. I don’t want to type just for the sake of typing, and I don’t want to shove a million products down your throat (most of which you probably don’t need anyway!). I still have pr obligations to post about so I will be finishing up with those, but after that, you can expect to see a lot fewer products, and prayerfully, a lot more of God.
I am cutting out things in my life that are not profitable for His kingdom, and I hope you will do the same. Are you a Christian, writing a blog that is not worthy of your audience of One? Or are you reading blogs that do not encourage you to seek Him? Challenge yourself today to cut out anything in your life that causes you to stumble, or lose your focus. If it doesn’t keep you focused on Him, what purpose does it serve?
It is my prayer that when you come to this blog it will be a place of refreshment, encouragement, and worship.
May He bless us both as we seek to please Him!
