Post sponsored by Lunchbox but all opinions are my own.
Just a few months ago we were a three computer family. We had one desktop and two laptops. My husband and I both work online, and it made sense that we would each have a laptop we could use while away on vacation or camping. We both have different types of programs we like to use and two totally different computer usage styles. I like to keep my apps to a minimum. If I don’t use it, I delete it. I store images on my external hard drive. I guess you could say I’m slightly OCD about my computer. I actually keep my laptop and desktop in exactly the same condition. I like to keep them linked, so it’s easy to switch from one to the other. My husband, on the other hand, is completely the opposite. He stores EVERYTHING on his computer.
With that this bit of back info, I’m sure you can understand why I would be upset if something happened to one of the laptops right? Well, what if I told you that in a two week period the kids managed to drop my husband’s laptop and crack it (though it was still slightly usable). Then they dropped mine and totally killed it. A few days after mine was buried they stepped on my husband’s laptop, and it took its last breath. Two laptops, two funerals, and two parents who vowed that their four children would never use a laptop again.
We never replaced my husband’s laptop, but we did replace mine. As thankful as I was to have the funds to purchase at least one laptop from Walmart, I was sad that we couldn’t also replace my husbands.
Now that it’s almost Christmas I can justify spending some of my savings on a computer for him, or I can try to win him one! Hopefully, I will win, but if I don’t I will still be able to purchase a Dell Inspiron Black laptop from Walmart without breaking the bank! It will be so nice to be a three computer home again. I know, totally first world problems, but with both of us earning money online, it is kind of a necessity as we are not always together when we travel and work.
Maybe you don’t need to replace a broken laptop; maybe you just need to #UpgradeWithIntel. If that’s the case, click on any of the images in this post and enter to win a FREE laptop!
