Maybe you can help me understand, how two parents can birth four amazing children and end up with this. Three children born with blonde hair and the last one born with brown hair (yes it does have a touch of red). I just don’t get it, I love it, but I don’t get it!
These girls are both beautiful, and I was secretly hoping they would look nothing like each other! But the hair thing really threw me for a loop! I had blonde hair when I was little and after the first three, I naturally assumed little miss Anna was going to bear those curly golden locks as, well. Now I am wondering if she will even have curly hair. If she’s trying to be the rebel (even the boys had ringlets) so far, so good!
Have you experienced this with your kids? All of them have something in common but one? Do you have an oddball? If so what is it? Button nose, big round eyes, hair color? I wanna know!
On a more serious note, what have you done to teach your daughter about beauty? When I look at my girls, I worry that as they grow up they will compare themselves to each other, and I don’t want them to fret over the “pretty sister”. I want them to understand that though they are “physically beautiful” to me, it is so much more important reflect the beauty of our Heavenly Father “true beauty”. What do you do to instill this knowledge into your daughters?
