Sharing is caring!

Brownie Cookies can you think of anything that sounds better? I don’t know about you, but I love brownies and cookies so this combo is AH MAZE ING! Check out all of our cookie recipes here.

I love brownies. I love the box kind more than anything! If I make some of those on a Friday evening for a treat, I will eat the entire thing within 24 hours. I’m not kidding. I walk by and take a little bite here, take another bite there. And before I know it, I’ve eaten the entire pan. So, naturally these cookies looked awesome to me when I saw the recipe! It used nothing but the finest of ingredients: boxed cake mix, cream cheese and butter! What more could you ask for? Such a great snack. I can’t wait to go eat another one…

Brownie Cookies Ingredients:

1 8-oz. package of cream cheese, softened
1 stick butter, softened
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 box moist chocolate cake mix
confectioners’ sugar, for dusting

How To Make Brownie Cookies:

Brownie Cookies

1.Preheat oven to 350.

2. In a large bowl with an electric mixer, cream the butter and cream cheese until smooth.

3. Beat in the egg. then beat in the vanilla extract.

4. Beat in the cake mix. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours to firm (you have to roll the batter into balls later).

5. Roll the chilled batter into tablespoon sized balls and roll them in confectioners sugar. This is a little messy. I used my small Pampered Chef scoop to make things easier.

6. Place the cookies on an ungreased cookie sheet, 2 inches apart.

7. Bake 12-15 minutes (mine took a little longer…I think my oven needs to be calibrated!). Cool completely and sprinkle with more confectioners’ sugar, if desired.

Enjoy!
