I knew I would love Pixar’s BRAVE from the moment I viewed the concept art. BRAVE is the most beautiful and captivating story Pixar has ever told, which is why it is officially my favorite Pixar movie ever made. I enjoyed watching it in the theater twice, and couldn’t wait to bring it home on DVD and Blu-ray for my children to enjoy for years to come.
I took all four of my children to see Brave when it came out in theaters. One word of caution, young children may be a little frightened by the bears and a few dark elements of the film. When I took my children, I had to leave three of them alone after the previews started. My youngest daughter Anna had seen a trailer for Brave and while I wasn’t aware, I guess the bears in the trailer scared her. As soon as the trailer for Monsters University came on she freaked out and started screaming. I took her right outside the theater and talked to her and after a few minutes she calmed down. She was nervous for the entire movie, and then cried again when it got dark and the bear came on the screen. After that she was fine again until the end. Just a warning!
