I downloaded the app a few days ago because I wanted to check it out for myself. I love that you can add your tasks, and then create a category for them. You can view some of my tasks below. Once you start a task, you simply click on the task you are working on and the counter starts calculating how long you work on that particular task. You can also work on multiple tasks at one time.
I personally find that this type of tracking is most beneficial for me when monitoring my social media usage. It’s not hard for me to jump on Facebook to share a blog post, only to find myself looking through my friend’s posts an hour later. With this app however, I am more aware that my time on Facebook is being monitored, which makes me more apt to do what I need to do online and move on to the next task.
I also think this app will greatly benefit my children. I allow each child a certain amount of time each day on their gaming devices and on my computer. By using this app, I can closely monitor how much time they are spending online.
I have mentioned before that I motivated myself to clean my house by setting a timer, and this app is a great tool for doing that. I can set a countdown timer that sends an alert to my phone when my time is up.
Overall, I think this is a great app for tracking time management and I plan to continue using it.
