I have had a great experience up to this point with both of the boy’s teachers! They are amazing, and I find myself wanting to help them in any way I can!
Here are 3 Simple Ways To Help Your Child’s School:
1) Encourage the teachers! Seriously, they work their behinds off, the least we can do as parents is acknowledge that! (Think- thank you notes, small gifts have your child make a home-made card). Any of these things can help brighten a teacher’s day! And as the new saying goes “When the teacher is happy, everyone is happy”! LOL
2) Volunteer to be a “Room Mom” or Teacher’s Helper. They have so much to do, planning parties, preparing welcome booklets, and shopping for treasure box materials should not be on their “To Do” list! Even if you have younger children at home you can shop for supplies!
3) Find out what the teachers or school need and make an investment in them. Maybe they need jackets for children who don’t have them, a see-saw for the play ground. You may not be able to afford a new gym, but you can provide in little ways! The school PTA is usually a great way to help with things like this!
